When Kumiko sees disaster near Yasuni, the most biodiverse region on earth, she realizes protecting the remaining Amazon is imperative to reroute global climate change catastrophe.

Kumiko begins to meet the indigenous people on the frontlines and is invited to a traditional amazonian ceremony. While surrendering to yage, a powerful Amazonian remedy, Kumiko sees a black snake slithering across the earth, contaminating the land. She awakens to the reality of her vision; raging fires blazing across the land and 18 billion gallons of oil waste deliberately dumped into the heart of the rainforest.

Before sinking into deep despair, Kumiko rises to confront the root of humanity's illness. As she begins to document the truth behind the poisonous acts of environmental destruction, she is redirected to the indigenous communities who have been on the frontlines of the resistance.
